Herrin High School is dedicated to the fullest possible development in socially approved directions of each of its individual students. The faculty, staff and
administration look forward to the challenge of continuing Herrin High
School's long tradition of excellence. Our goal for each student is to
maximize academic performance and to develop social competence,
responsibility and self-confidence. We believe that the positive
development and success of all students are common goals and a
collective responsibility shared by parents, students, community and
school. We also believe that the central purpose of our school is to
