Misson Statement

The coaching staffs at Herrin High School believe that sports are an excellent way to develop character.

We strive to teach life lessons  to each athlete.

The discipline learned during high school athletic training and competition will benefit the athlete in many ways during their adult life.

First, and foremost, we believe each student must work hard to achieve good grades in school.

As a result of this belief, we demand a higher standard than what is required by IHSA

We want our students to excel in the classroom and on the playing field.
