HERRIN HIGH SCHOOL SPORTS HISTORY

               1957 State Champions in Basketball 31-2. The 1957-1959 team went 31-2 as well.

               1972-73 Tigers 23-3 Undefeated in South Seven Conference, averaging 76     points a game and giving up about 55. Scored over 100 points in two different games.

                Runner up 2001-02 Season 2A basketball 26-8

               1972 & 1973 Football Teams 10-0

               Football 2004-05 Season 11-2 Best record in School History, Semi Final loss at Lombard Montini.

               Softball 20X Conference Champions 20 out of 22 Seasons

               Softball placed 2^nd at state 4 times.

               Track- 2007 State Champions.
