Each fall, area schools apply ideas, skill, craftsmanship & manpower towards
a fundraising project known as the Casa Playhouse Project. Casa
(Court Appointed Special Advocates) helps abandoned, neglected, homeless, and
abused children with court related matters.
Much of Casa's budget is directly related to the success of this project.

For the last
fourteen years, Herrins' Drafting Department
has been involved with Jim Wangler's technology classes to complete a worthy
project. Drafting students learn deadlines happen and changes/improvements are
inevitable.

All projects go on display at the Marion Illinois Center Mall
from mid November thru Christmas. Next fall, stop by the mall and see
Herrin's entry, and contribute to the good cause.
