A typical day in the drafting room is quiet different than most conventional classrooms. Other than when covering new topics or techniques, or reviewing for taking a quiz or test, students are allowed to work on projects that might peak their interests. (All projects must first be approved by the instructor.) When you have 115 plus students spread throughout the 6 daily classes, 60 to 80 projects becomes the norm.

Currently, intro students are working on the board doing three-view drawings.  As soon as computer/software issues are solved, CAD students will begin architectural & mechanical projects, and preparation for drafting competitions.  Until then CAD students will help with intro students and work on the board.
