Hi, I'm Wayne Albers, the Drafting Instructor at Herrin High School. Welcome to the Herrin High School Drafting Department Webpage. I hope you find it informative and useful. My educational background includes a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration and an M.B.A. - Both from Maryville University, St. Louis. My work experience includes almost 30 years at Ameren Corp. (St. Louis) as a Design Construction Draftsman. Early retirement in 2003 lead to teaching at Johnston City in 2004, tutoring at Williamson County High Schools in 2005 and 2006. 2006 also brought me here to Herrin to teach Drafting. Whether you are a student, parent, or casual observer, this is your source for many things concerning the Drafting Department. We plan to keep information on this site as current as possible, making adjustments as time permits.
